Orphan Care, Adoption and Foster Care

God wants every child to have a mom and a dad. One tragic reality of a fallen world is that millions of children don’t have either. No mother. No father.
This is an unspeakable tragedy. But this is a tragedy to which the Christian church is called to do something very specific. James says that Christians are to “visit orphans” in their affliction.
That’s the Biblical imperative. And that imperative is for every Christian person. James says that this is a demonstration of “true religion” because this is the kind of thing that represents outwardly the transformation of heart that takes place within the person who has been created new in Christ. This is a defining work of the kind of faith that saves.
And so, Rysalynn’s Hope is organized, in part, to resource, finance and network families for the adoption and fostering of orphaned children.
