Defending The Unborn

Some children have parents who don’t believe they exist. Some children have parents who believe they exist but wish they didn’t. Some children have parents who believe they exist and love them, but are under pressure from all sides to make them go away forever.

The womb is the most dangerous place to be in the twenty-first century. And that is true in the city of Louisville. Countless thousands of children are aborted in this city every year.

The Christian concern for the unborn begins with a particular conviction about what human beings are. According to Genesis 1:27, “God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” Human worth is not determined by a person’s size, level of development, environment or degree of dependency. Human life does not become valuable. Human life is valuable, infinitely so. This is true from conception to death.

We cannot see the unborn. We cannot hear their cries. But God can. We love them because they are precious, and we are compelled by the love of Christ to defend their lives.

For this reason, Rosalynn’s Hope is organized, in part, to stimulate and facilitate the defense of the unborn among us.
